Someone on another online community I belong to has mentioned that one household in their street has put up all its Christmas decorations (and then gone door-to-door along the street asking for donations for enhancing the community). The papers report Christmas goods have appeared in the shops. On Radio 2 on Sunday they played "Jingle Bells"; I switched to Classic FM where they were playing The Nutcracker. Serves me right for listening to Radio 2 and Classic, I suppose. Then satellite TV showed a Christmas episode of The PJ's (is that show lame or what?), and Sky Movies is now trailing "Elf".

I really don't think I can take another three months of Christmas :-(

One good thing about living in the UK. As far as I can tell, we don't get any days of A Christmas Story. The traditional Christmas Day film here is Genevieve (the 1953 one). At least it's got nothing actually to do with Christmas.
